Managing, monitoring, and maintain computer hardware and software systems. As they aid in resolving technical issues concerning customer's accounts or PTC software infrastructure. A Technical Support Specialist will also support computer software integration by diagnosing and troubleshooting common problems.
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum Requirements for Candidates
Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information System).
Competent knowledge in English and Arabic, Spoken and Written.
Networking and Security.
Information Systems Maintenance.
Expectations for Ideal Candidates
Provides help desk support and resolve IT related issues with the end users.
Monitors and respond quickly to any new request made through the help desk system.
Ensures each station has computers, monitors, keyboards etc. up to standard levels of service.
Installs the operating system and other software required for the end user.
Performs installation of computers and laptops, Windows and PTC related software.
Prepares periodic reports with respect to the Infrastructure and Networks Section activities and achievements to be submitted to the Infrastructure and Networks Manager.
Nominates a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of his/her absence whenever the need arises.
Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company
Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware
Updating computer software. as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.
Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
