Job Description

The Sourcer / Recruitment Consultant (RC) is responsible for sourcing candidates for the roles that align with the company's strategic goals. The RC collaborates with hiring managers and stakeholders to attract top talent and ensure a smooth recruitment process. The primary objective is to provide a positive candidate experience while fulfilling organizational talent needs, helping shape the future success of the company.

Qualifications / Skills

Minimum Requirements for Candidates

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Sourcing / Talent Acquisition role. The experience gained in an onsite position with an RPO provider will be preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of sourcing / recruiting experience in the IT, BPO, HCM, SaaS, or payroll industry.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Business, Naukri India and multiple job boards, and ATS systems.
  • Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and handle ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of current recruitment trends and strategies in the payroll and SaaS sectors.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, and stress, resolve problems, and deliver strong results.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with applicant assessment systems (psychometric, job skills, language assessments).

Expectations for Ideal Candidates

  • Strong expertise in sourcing candidates across payroll industry
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Advanced use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri India and other job boards, professional networks, and AI-driven sourcing tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand job requirements, especially in the context of global payroll outsourcing and SaaS roles.
  • Post job openings on career pages, job boards, and social networks (e.g., Mesaar Job Board, LinkedIn, Naukrigulf, Bayt) with a focus on roles in payroll, SaaS, and technology sectors.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment through Mercans ATS (Mesaar), from job requisition to hiring, ensuring compliance with global hiring standards.
  • Identify candidates via multiple platforms, including Mercans Internal CV Database, social media, professional networks, referrals, and portfolio sites, focusing on payroll and SaaS talent.
  • Screen candidates based on the approved requisition criteria, emphasizing experience in global payroll, SaaS, and technology industries. Upload pre-screened candidates with recruiter notes in Mesaar.
  • Conduct assessments, schedule interviews, organize psychometric and job skills evaluations, and manage interview stages with hiring managers, tailored to the specific needs of SaaS and payroll positions.
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct salary negotiations aligned with the company’s global grading and salary structure.
  • Secure offer approval from the executive leadership team via Mesaar.
  • Prepare and extend offers to selected candidates.
  • Collect necessary data from selected candidates to complete employment and background checks, ensuring compliance with international hiring standards.
  • Share the new employee take-in form and collect required documents to prepare employment contracts and NDAs.
  • Add offered candidates’ details to the Mercans New Joiners board on Monday.com.
  • Oversee HR and IT onboarding processes for new hires in line with company policy, ensuring smooth integration into global payroll and SaaS teams.
  • Conduct internal and external salary and benefits benchmarking exercises specific to the global payroll and SaaS markets on a semi-annual basis, or as needed to stay competitive in the market.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance standards throughout the recruitment process.
