The OCC Chief Controller is responsible for the overall functions of the OCC and supervises its staff. He coordinates information flows within the OCC, as well as with external stakeholders (Police, Security, and emergency respondents). His main duties are related to the safety of passengers and staff. He is in interface with the TCC Representative
In degraded situations, he takes the lead when an incident occurs, to follow related SOPs and resolve the situation (acting as Silver Commander). He is entitled to guarantee safety. He is the contact point for the person responsible for the incident on site (Bronze Commander). He notifies management and the Owner of incidents, accidents, disruptions, etc.
He ensures local level operations activities are conducted properly and according to performance targets, and do not pose any significant risk.
