As the General Legal Counsel, to protect l’s interests from a legal perspective, provide all necessary legal advice and opinion and ensure mitigation of legal exposure and on potential legal disputes.
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum Requirements for Candidates
Certified Saudi Lawyer with profound knowledge of laws and regulations and drafting capabilities.
At least 15 years of progressive experience in a reputable organization.

Develop long term strategy for the legal affairs in line with PTC’s vision and mission and ensure top management buy-in
Prepare annual business plan in conjunction with other business and operational unit heads and cascade it down within Legal Affairs.
Establish annual operational and capital expenditure budgets.
Ensure that exposure and legal risk are properly measured and assessed in the documentation related to PTC services, including contracts and agreements, and legal advices and opinions are rendered to protect the PTC’s interests when being exposed to legal pursuits.
Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of legal documentation and the structure of their relevant products and services.
Provide support on litigation cases to other team members or external legal service providers and take lead when required.
Collaborate with departments and external entities on workouts for potential litigations.
Provide legal advice on board decisions.
Ensure preventive analysis of top management decisions and provide legal advice and recommendations, whenever possible, to protect the interests of the company when being exposed to legal pursuits.
Provide legal opinion and advice on potential violations identified and escalated by other departments.
Coordinate with senior management the course of action to undertake
Develop and implement strategy for selection and appointment of external legal advisors, including the negotiation of terms of engagement and fee rates.
Monitor advice given by external solicitors and ensure the advice is appropriately disseminated to internally.
