Job Purpose: To handle and manage accounting function of Mercans and its clients, also to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum Requirements for Candidates
Finance or Accounting degree
At least 5 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance field
Advanced Excel skills
Native Arabic speaker
Fluent in English
Major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Navision, etc.) experience
At least 3 years of experience working for a multinational company or major audit firm
Working knowledge of IFRS
Expectations for Ideal Candidates
Prior experience with a major audit firm
Working knowledge of the US GAAP
Working knowledge of FAR & CFR
Experience with NetSuite
Prio KSA or UAE experience
Financial Planning & Analysis experience

Maintaining of statutory books of accounts by recording all Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoice, Employee Expenses, Payroll, General Ledger and bank transactions along with supporting vouchers.
Bank account reconciliation.
Issuance of sales invoices.
Reconciliation of statutory books of accounts with Management Reporting
Preparation of monthly financial statements including trial balance, income statement and balance sheet.
Prepare the annual tax return and submit the same to the concerned authorities
Preparation and submission of VAT return.
Prepare the documentation and statements required for the tax assessment
Preparation of seasonal sales and purchase reports.
